Outside of a dog, a book is a man's best friend.
Inside of a dog it's too dark to read.

It follows from World Book Day on the 3rd March.)

No stories, no adventures - just a photo - just a breath - just 'be'.

I love the look of old books. Why are they all so colorful these days when a plain cover looks so much nicer? I used to take the dust jackets off my books as I liked the 'boring' real cover underneath. Your selection there looks perfect. Happy reading.

I am all excited because after doing a quiz by Random House I have found out my vintage classic character is Sally Bowles from Goodbye to Berlin - this book is not easy to find BUT my local (library that is!!) have tracked it down and its coming my way via an inter-library loan!!! I love love love books, especially old ones - and oh yes I love a doily or two as well, yours is sweet! TK xx
